our story
in 2010, our founder & ceo andy zhong quit his job in silicon valley and started his own business, funplus.
after years of hard work in interactive entertainment, funplus is now one of the most significant companies in the industry, with employees coming from more than 20 countries, located at beijing, taipei, san francisco, singapore and tokyo.
we joined this industry not because it’s easy, but because it’s challenging. it challenges our brains, our energy, and our will.

andy zhong
cofounder / chief executive officer
andy zhong is cofounder and ceo of funplus. prior to founding funplus in 2010, he was vp of engineering and product at thegamenet.com and, before that, served as engineering director and product management lead at rockyou. this was preceded by engineering positions at ask.com and oracle. andy began his career as a research engineer at bell laboratories. he holds a master’s degree in computer science from maharishi university of management and a bachelor of science degree in computer science from dalian university of technology.

yitao guan
cofounder / chief technology officer
yitao guan, founder and cto of funplus, is a technology enthusiast passionate about social, mobile, cloud and data. prior to founding funplus, he worked as a software architect for more than 15 years with leading technology companies, including ibm and ask.com, where he was responsible for building worldclass infrastructure accessible from anywhere with the capacity to process hundreds of millions requests every day. yitao received both a bachelor and master of science degree from shanghai jiao tong university.
qi chen
chief operating officer
chen is currently the chief operating officer (coo) at funplus. he most recently served as coo, then ceo, of spil games asia. chen was also a founder and general manager for 360quan and the communication director for conservation international in china. he began his career as a journalist with china central television and editor for cctv.com. chen received a bachelor of arts degree in economics from beijing normal university.
brett krause
cso
brett krause is the chief strategy officer of funplus, a global leader in mobile digital interactive entertainment. in addition to leading corporate strategy, brett has responsibly for funplus’ investments, and overseas global branding and public relations.
brett was previously managing partner of purplesky capital one of china’s top performing angel venture capital firms. brett started his career in corporate and investment banking. from 2014-2016, brett was the president of jpmorgan chase china. from 2008-2013, brett was citi’s country officer (ceo) for citibank vietnam.
